Ghoulish Book Festival was launched by Max and Lori Booth in the spring of 2022 as an annual celebration of everything spooky. It is a three-day weekend bursting with book vendors, panels, live readings, and other fun events. Previous GBF Ghouls of Honor have included Cynthia Pelayo, Laurel Hightower, Shane McKenzie, Johnny Compton, Trevor Henderson, and V. Castro.
The next GBF will occur in 2024 on March 15, 16, 17.
The venue’s address: 525 S St Mary’s St, San Antonio, TX 78205

Although not mandatory, masking will still be highly encouraged during our upcoming Ghoulish Book Festival. Please consider the safety of our disabled and/or immunocompromised ghouls! We all want to have a good, spooky time together. (A limited amount of KN95s will be available at our check-in area.)
HOTEL LINK (with GBF-rate auto added). Note: if no rooms are available, please notify us at ghoulishbookfest@gmail.com. It’s possible the hotel isn’t actually sold out and we might just need to request additional room blocks from our hotel contact.
Vendor tables are SOLD OUT for 2024.
PARKING: Please note that parking is free at the venue only on Saturday and Sunday. On Friday, the lot is reserved for locals who have parking passes only. However, there is an affordable parking lot across the street from the venue.
